Recently, in the high-end new energy and new materials industrial park in Kemen Park, Lianjiang Economic Development Zone, Fujian, the park’s first settled project, Puquan New Energy Production, is in full swing.
Puquan New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. is a comprehensive large-scale chemical entity enterprise specializing in the research and development, design, manufacturing, sales and services of lithium battery auxiliary materials NMP. At present, two production lines with an annual output of 50,000 tons have been put into full operation. The world’s most advanced distillation process is used to extract NMP products with a purity of over 99.9% to support the production of lithium batteries.
Lin Lujia, deputy general manager of Fujian Puquan New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., said: “We mainly supply NMP (N-methylpyrrolidone) to CATL. At present, the 100,000-ton production line in the first phase has begun production, and the first and second phases have begun production. The 200,000-ton production line in the first phase is expected to be put into operation at the end of this year. After it is fully put into operation, the output value of the first phase will exceed 10 billion yuan.”
It is reported that the second phase of the construction of an NMP refining device with an annual output of 200,000 tons is planned to be completed and put into operation in June next year. From the signing of the contract in October 2022 to the completion and commissioning of the first phase of Puquan New Energy in just 10 months, it has created an “impressive speed”.
